The Chennai Super Kings appointed Eric Simon as the new bowling consultant ahead the 11th edition of Indian Premier League. Simon was the bowling coach of the Indian Cricket Team in the 2011 world cup., which was won by Team India after defeating Sri Lankan team.
The officials of the Chennai Super Kings announced that news via their official Twitter handle. Where they posted,”Yello Lions! The newest Lion in the Pride is from the South African Safari! Put your whistles together for Eric Simons, our Bowling Consultant. For a super awesome summer ahead! #SummerIsComing.”

As we all know that, the Chennai Super Kings was out of this for two years due to a temporary two year suspension. A few months ago, the team appointed Lakshmipathy Balaji as the bowling coach, who was also the former Team member of the Chennai Super Kings.
