After winning the One Day International series with a margin of 4-1, the team India is ready to play the Twenty-20 International series against Australia. The first match of the 3-match series is ready to schedule on 7th October in Ranchi.

The regular opener Shikhar Dhawan is back in the squad after missing the One Day International series due to surgery of his wife. He replaced the ODIs opener Ajinkya Rahane. He is now all set to open the innings with Rohit Sharma.

Rohit Sharma is the leading run scorer in the recent series with 296 runs in 5 innings. He scored a brilliant century in the last match. For that, he was declared as player of the match.

The Indian captain Virat Kohli is comfortable with his number 3 position. Manish Pandey will be the right choice at no. 4 due to his recent performance against the Australia. The Indian wicket keeper batsman MS Dhoni is all ready to share his experience in the squad.

Kuldeep Yadav and Yuzvendra Chahal are the right choice as spinners in the squad, while Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Jasprit Bumrah are the perfect option as seamer in the team for this shortest format of the game.
