The starting and ending date of the next edition of Indian Premier League is revealed by some reports. The most awaited Twenty-20 league in the world is going to start from April 4, 2018 and will be ended on May 31, 2018.
This will be the 11th edition of this league. The eight teams will fight for the trophy in that season. As we all know the runner-up of IPL 10 Rising Pune Supergiants and the Gujarat Lions will no more the part of this league, as the contact of both teams end after the IPL 10.
The champion of the first edition of this league Rajasthan Royal and the two times champions Chennai Super Kings are ready to back in the action after the two years of suspension. The both teams were suspended due to spot fixing by their owners.
The Star Sports network will telecast the whole league first time ever as they bagged the media rights at ₹16,347.5 crore for the next five years. As earlier the Sony TV Network had rights to telecast this T20 league.
