During the 52nd match of IPL between Royal Challengers Bangalore and Sunrisers Hyderabad, Dan Christian removes dangerous looking Jason Roy.

Upon winning the toss RCB skipper Virat Kohli decided to field first at Abu Dhabi. Both the teams went unchanged for the game. RCB will be looking for two straight wins in the last two matches and will keep the momentum going for RCB. If they manage to do so, they will end up with 20 points which will guarantee them a spot in the top 2 of the table.
Batting first, SRH lost the wicket of Abhishek Sharma quite early in the innings. Kane Williamson’s strategy of bringing the 21-year-old up the order did not work unfortunately. The 21-year-old was dismissed after scoring 13 off 10 deliveries.

However, Jason Roy and Kane Williamson took charge of the innings. At the end of the powerplay overs, SRH managed to put up 50 runs on the board at the loss of a wicket. The two scored 70 runs for the 2nd wicket before Kane Williamson fell off to Harshal Patel in the 12th over of the game.
Jason Roy lost his wicket to Dan Christian in the 15th over of the game. Roy was very close to his fifty as he fell short of six runs. Christian bowled a full-length delivery outside the off, Jason Roy smashes it hard at Dan Christian who takes the catch in the end after three tries. Roy couldn’t believe what he just saw and throws his bat out of frustration.
It was strange innings from Jason Roy. Never looked like he settled on the pitch. Roy scored 44 off 38 deliveries which comprised of 5 fours at a strike rate of 115.79.
