To state in simple terms, Rajasthan Royals have made a fool out of themselves. Registering the one of the top 5 totals ever in IPL’s history, they have set a new low in the ongoing edition of the Indian Premier League, that too in the final match of the season. Utter humiliation for Rajasthan Royals and their fans, and also definitely for all the players and the squad. At the same time, Kolkata Knight riders extend their record of being a side who have always had a great bowling order.

In the match against Chennai Super Kings, Rajasthan Royals had done exceptionally well but in the next two matches against Mumbai Indians and Kolkata Knight Riders, there was a big dip in their form, especially in their batting performance.

After 4 of their wickets fell in quick succession, fans had some hope on Glenn Phillips and Shivam Dubey but they failed to live up to the expectations as well. In fact, they fell down even faster. When Kolkata unleashed their young gun Shivam Mavi, whom they had probably kept hidden for this purpose only, gave them no space.

The dismissal of Glenn Phillips was particularly outrageous. What a cracker of a delivery it was! And the same was the destiny of Shivam Dubey. Two consecutive bowled outs ruined Rajasthan Royals’ chances to remain in the game.
