During an ILT20 match against Desert Vipers, Tom Curran delivered a perfectly executed yorker that knocked out Nicholas Pooran’s wicket and caused him to lose his balance.
Nicholas Pooran was the last hope for his team, MI Emirates, as they had lost early wickets and were struggling at 53-3 in the ninth over. Pooran was batting on 57, and had hit four boundaries and two sixes, but his innings came to an end after a brilliant yorker from Tom Curran.
Tom Curran delivered a yorker on the leg-stump on the last ball of MI Emirates’ innings. Nicholas Pooran was unable to handle it, as his bat missed the ball and it went on to hit his legs before knocking out the stumps behind.
Although Nicholas Pooran’s 49-ball innings helped his team, MI Emirates, score 169-5, it was not enough as Desert Vipers easily chased down the target, winning with seven wickets and 3.3 overs to spare.
