The Women’s Premier League is approaching the knockout phase and promises thrilling matches. Mumbai Indians Women, captained by Harmanpreet Kaur, have already secured their spot in the playoffs, but the Royal Challengers Bangalore Women, led by Smriti Mandhana, are facing challenges in securing a position, having lost all five of their matches in the tournament thus far.

Despite Smriti Mandhana’s struggle to score runs, the only Bangalore-based player who is making an impact with her bat is Australian cricketer Ellyse Perry. However, recent social media images of Perry have gone viral, showing the 32-year-old cleaning the dugout.

The Australian batter was captured on camera picking up bottles and trash from around her dugout, and then properly disposing of them in the nearby bin. Netizens were quick to commend the Australian cricketer for her thoughtful action.

In the 11th match of the Women’s Premier League, Delhi Capitals defeated Royal Challengers Bangalore by 6 wickets. This is Bangalore’s 5th consecutive loss in this tournament. Smriti Mandhana’s team, led by her captaincy, is still searching for their first win.
