Rajat Patidar to miss entire season due to Achilles Heel injury

Due to an Achilles heel injury, Rajat Patidar, who had a notable performance of 333 runs at an average of 55.5 and a strike rate of 152.75 in the last season, will not be able to participate in the entire IPL campaign.

Although he was initially doubtful, there was hope that he might be able to make a comeback at some point. However, on Tuesday, RCB confirmed that he will not be able to participate this year.

RCB expressed their regret and support for Patidar’s speedy recovery and stated that they have not yet named a replacement player for him.

Patidar played a crucial role in RCB’s performance last year, especially at No.3, where he was relied upon to stabilize the team. Despite his absence, RCB had a successful start to IPL 2023, winning against five-time champions Mumbai Indians by eight wickets.

However, the team has not yet determined a replacement for Patidar. RCB’s next match is against Kolkata Knight Riders on April 6th at Eden Gardens.
