The ball was full and had a slight away movement from off, which caught Shaw off guard as he attempted a big drive. He got a thick outside edge, and the ball flew towards the keeper’s right.
The lone slip fielder was out of reach, and the ball was traveling fast. Samson had to dive to his right and caught the ball with his right hand, even as he tumbled over. It was a fantastic effort from Samson to hold onto the ball and get the wicket.
