Match number 34 of the ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL) sees Sunrisers Hyderabad taking on Delhi Capitals. David Warner-led Delhi Capitals are currently sitting at the bottom of the points table, having won only one out of six matches.
Sunrisers Hyderabad, with two wins out of six matches, are just one position above them. Before the start of the match against his former team, David Warner was spotted with Bhuvneshwar Kumar.
In a heartwarming gesture, Warner touched the feet of the Indian pacer, followed by a tight hug between the two players.
David Warner began his IPL career in 2009 with Delhi Daredevils (now Delhi Capitals) but later moved to Sunrisers Hyderabad before being bought by DC for IPL 2023. Currently, Warner has scored 306 runs in seven innings and holds the third position in the list of highest run-getters.
Faf du Plessis leads the Orange Cap list with 405 runs, followed by Devon Conway with 314 runs, just eight runs ahead of Warner.
