Former cricketer Ajay Jadeja to be part of Salman Khan’s Big Boss OTT 2

Ajay Jadeja, the renowned former Indian cricketer and commentator, has joined the cast of the popular Indian reality show, Big Boss OTT, as it returns for another exciting season. While the first season of the OTT version was hosted by Karan Johar, this season will be hosted by the legendary Salman Khan.

The second season of Big Boss OTT kicked off on Saturday, June 17, featuring a star-studded panel of participants, including Ajay Jadeja, adding a cricketing touch to the show.

Ajay Jadeja, the former cricketer who had an illustrious career with 15 Tests and 196 ODIs for India, has now joined the renowned reality show as a panelist. Alongside him, the panel features popular figures such as Sunny Leone, news anchor Dibakar, ‘Big Boss Season 16’ winner MC Stan, and actor Sandeep Sikand.

Jadeja expressed his excitement about being a part of India’s biggest reality show, stating, “I am truly thrilled to be a part of this monumental reality show and engage with a whole new generation. It’s an entirely new experience for me, unlike cricket, where the focus is solely on the game. In Bigg Boss OTT, the entire nation gets to witness the authentic version of oneself, with every thought being scrutinized, and I genuinely look forward to it.”

Jadeja had been a consistent member of the Indian cricket team from 1992 to 2000 until he faced a five-year ban due to involvement in match-fixing. However, his ban was later overturned by the Delhi High Court in 2003, granting him the opportunity to participate in domestic and international cricket once again.

During his tenure, Jadeja showcased his leadership skills by captaining the Indian side in 13 One-Day matches, and his remarkable fielding abilities earned him the reputation of being one of the safest pairs of hands in the Indian team. Following his retirement from professional cricket, the 52-year-old took up the role of coach for the Delhi cricket team, although he eventually resigned from the position. Currently, the Gujarat-born Jadeja contributes to the cricketing world as a commentator.
