In the thrilling encounter of the ongoing ACC Men’s Emerging Teams Asia Cup 2023 in Sri Lanka, India’s pace bowler, Rajvardhan Hangargekar, showcased an exceptional performance against Pakistan A. The clash between the arch-rivals, held at R. Premadasa Stadium in Colombo, was highly anticipated as both India A and Pakistan A had maintained a perfect winning record in the tournament until that day.

However, one team’s victorious streak was destined to conclude as the young talents from both sides faced off on Wednesday. Hangargekar’s fiery bowling added to the excitement of the contest, making it a mouth-watering spectacle for cricket fans.

From around the wicket, Rajvardhan Hangargekar charged towards the left-hander Saim Ayub and unleashed an impressive outswinger that landed on a perfect length and proceeded to deviate away from the batsman.

Ayub, feeling the pressure of playing ten consecutive dot balls, attempted a flashy shot, enticed by the ball’s width. Unfortunately, the movement proved too much to handle, and he ended up edging the ball to the vigilant keeper, Dhruv Jurel, who held on to an excellent catch.

Only four deliveries later, facing the right-hander Omair Yousuf, Hangargekar delivered an inswinger. Yousuf opted for a forward defensive shot outside the off-stump, but the ball took the edge of his bat and once again landed safely in Jurel’s hands. This double strike from the talented CSK seamer filled both Hangargekar and the young India A players with jubilation and excitement.
