WATCH : Virat Kohli took one handed stunner at 2nd slip

Jadeja delivers to Shepherd, and he’s caught by Kohli! What an extraordinary catch that is! Kohli pulls off a remarkable one-handed stunner to his right at 2nd slip. It was a low catch, and Kohli had just positioned himself there before the ball was bowled.

He holds on to the ball beautifully as Shepherd attempted to drive the full delivery outside off, but instead, he gets a thick outside-edge which Kohli sensationally grasps. With this wicket, Jadeja has taken three, and the West Indies find themselves in deep trouble.

Hardik Pandya opened the bowling for India and struck early, claiming the wicket of Kyle Mayers. Despite that setback, West Indies made an impressive recovery, with Alick Athanaze and Brandon King batting well, scoring at a good run rate, and finding boundaries with ease.

However, their fruitful partnership was short-lived as Mukesh Kumar and Shardul Thakur dismissed both batsmen. This brought Shimron Hetmyer to the crease in an ODI match for the first time since July 2021, alongside captain Shai Hope.

Unfortunately, Hetmyer’s stay at the crease was cut short, as he fell for 11 off 19 balls, being cleaned up by Jadeja while attempting a flamboyant flick. As a result, vice-captain Rovman Powell took his place at the crease.
