With the ICC World Cup 2023 in full swing in India, the entire sports community, and the nation as a whole, is in the throes of cricket fever. This tournament coincides with a period of soaring cricket popularity, thanks to the concerted efforts of the governing body to expand the sport globally and the explosive success of T20 leagues.

The United States of America, a promising market, recently introduced Major League Cricket, signaling the inevitable assimilation of cricket into the mainstream.

Notably, YouTuber ISHowSpeed, boasting a massive following of over 20 million subscribers, has joined the cricket bandwagon. While on tour in India, he was captured on camera playing the sport, albeit with a touch of humor, as he took a playful jab at Babar Azam.

Wearing a Men in Blue jersey, Speed was seen batting in a field, surrounded by a sizable crowd during one of his live streams. After missing a shot, he playfully vented his frustration by stomping on his bat and jokingly exclaimed, “I am playing like Babar Azam right now.”

Speed, a moniker for this popular YouTuber, has previously expressed his admiration for Virat Kohli while positioning Pakistan’s captain, Babar, as his playful adversary.
