S Sreesanth, the former Indian pacer, is actively playing for the Gujarat Giants (GG) in the ongoing 2023 edition of the Legends League Cricket (LLC). In a recent match against the Urbanrisers Hyderabad (URH) held at the Rajiv Gandhi International Cricket Stadium in Dehradun, Sreesanth showcased his classic bowling skills.
He made an impactful start by claiming the wicket of opener Martin Guptill in his very first over. Using a well-executed outswinger, he deceived Guptill, who could only manage an outside edge, resulting in a fine diving catch by keeper Dhurv Raval.
Demonstrating remarkable composure, Sreesanth defended 13 crucial runs in the final over of the match. His crucial dismissal of the dangerous Peter Trego, who had scored 59 runs off 25 balls, steered Gujarat to an exhilarating one-run victory.
Although Sreesanth was absent from Gujarat’s initial LLC 2023 match against the Manipal Tigers (MT), the team faced a setback with a 10-run defeat while chasing a target of 174 runs.
In the subsequent fixture versus the Bhilwara Kings (BK), Sreesanth bowled a disciplined spell. With 14 runs needed off the last over, the veteran seamer took charge, delivering under pressure. His efforts led Gujarat to secure a tense three-run victory over Bhilwara, marking their first win in the tournament.

He continued his impressive performance by defending 13 runs in the final six deliveries against the Urbanrisers Hyderabad. With two wins out of three games, Gujarat currently holds the third position on the points table. GG is set to face the India Capitals (IC) at the Molana Azad Stadium in Jammu on Thursday, November 30.
