Yuzvendra Chahal trolls RCB’s new-look bowling attack

Yuzvendra Chahal’s move from Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) to the Rajasthan Royals (RR) remains puzzling for some, accompanied by possible friction between the two sides. Following his omission from RCB after the 2021 season, the leg-spinner thrived, earning the Purple Cap in his debut season with the inaugural IPL champions in 2022.

However, Chahal’s international career has encountered a decline post his departure from RCB. Meanwhile, the thrice-finalists have faced challenges and had a forgettable IPL mini-auction. Rebuilding their entire bowling lineup became imperative for RCB, releasing Harshal Patel, Wanindu Hasaranga, and Josh Hazlewood.

Their financial constraints intensified after acquiring Cameron Green from the Mumbai Indians (MI) in an off-season trade. Acquiring Alzarri Joseph cost RCB ₹11.50 crore, while they settled for Lockie Ferguson at his base price in the auction’s closing stages.

Concerning spin options, RCB currently relies on Karn Sharma and Mayank Dagar, the latter obtained via a trade deal with SunRisers Hyderabad (SRH) at the expense of Shahbaz Ahmed.

Chahal has been seen frequently on gaming streams, engaging in Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI) with fellow gamers. In a recent gaming session, his teammate inquired about RCB’s revamped bowling attack following the auction.
The bowler’s reaction to the question was brief yet cutting.

He simply responded with ‘Moye moye.’ This phrase, derived from a Serbian song, has recently gained widespread usage in online memes, rapidly gaining traction and going viral in the latter months of 2023.
