Overnight batsmen Shubman Gill and Kuldeep Yadav showcased brilliance in the first session of Day 4, forging a fifty-plus run partnership for the third wicket.

A lighthearted moment unfolded on camera when one of the bowlers gestured about batting technique against speedster Mark Wood midway through the session.

During the 63rd over’s fourth delivery, Wood, coming around the wicket, delivered a back-of-a-length ball close to the fourth stump line. Despite minimal seam movement, Kuldeep adeptly adjusted, using the bounce to guide the ball behind square of the wicket towards the third man region for a boundary.

Executing such a stroke against the pace of Wood, who had claimed a four-for in the first innings, demanded skill. However, Kuldeep, hailing from Uttar Pradesh, demonstrated his batting prowess by identifying the vacant area and executing the shot.

This successful stroke prompted a celebratory fist pump between Kuldeep and Gill, captured by the camera. Subsequently, the left-arm wrist spinner shared some batting insights with his partner, a well-recognized batter.

With a smile, Kuldeep gestured with his left hand, indicating a wristy motion commonly used for cut or dab strokes. This exchange was noticed by the Twitter community, who shared their perspectives on social media.
