Karachi Kings asserted their dominance over Quetta Gladiators during the midway point of the latter’s batting innings, securing three quick wickets to leave them struggling at 81/4.
Hasan Ali played a pivotal role, conceding just four runs in his initial two overs and taking two wickets, disrupting a 47-run partnership between Saud Shakeel and Khawaja Nafay. Ali’s exceptional bowling performance was further highlighted by his unique celebration after claiming his first wicket of the match.
In the ninth over, bowling from around the wicket, Ali delivered a full-length ball targeting Shakeel’s stumps, enticing him to play a big shot towards midwicket.
However, the experienced bowler cleverly disguised the delivery by subtly changing the grip on the ball, causing Shakeel to mistime his shot, resulting in a straightforward catch for Shoaib Malik near the boundary.

With Shakeel poised to accelerate after scoring 33 runs off 28 balls, Ali was understandably jubilant about the breakthrough, celebrating by twirling his arms in the air to the rhythm of his success.
