Harry Brook’s heroics and Joe Root’s class propel England to a dominant victory over Pakistan

On Day 4 of the Test match, Harry Brook made history with an incredible triple century, leading England to a formidable total of 823/7.

In reply, Pakistan struggled and ended the day at 152/6 after 37 overs. The final day began with Agha Salman and Aamer Jamal at the crease, while Gus Atkinson took the new ball for England.

With a significant deficit to overcome, Pakistan’s situation looked bleak. Their troubles deepened when Aamer Jamal dismissed Brydon Carse in the 45th over.

England was just three wickets away from victory when Salman fell, followed by Shaheen Shah Afridi, putting Pakistan in a dire position.

Naseem Shah was also dismissed, and with Abrar Ahmed unable to bat due to illness, England clinched the win by an innings and 47 runs. This match marked Pakistan’s sixth consecutive loss in Test cricket and their seventh defeat at home in the last nine Tests.
