The Indian batters were relentless, launching a fierce attack on the Bangladesh bowlers. After the early dismissal of Abhishek Sharma, Sanju Samson and Suryakumar Yadav took charge, driving the score to 82/1 by the end of the powerplay.
Both reached half-centuries in under 25 deliveries, propelling India to an impressive 152/1 after 10 overs.
Samson then went on to score a brilliant century in just 31 balls before Mustafizur Rahman dismissed him in the 14th over.
On the fourth delivery of that over, Mustafizur bowled a short ball that deceived Samson with its lack of pace. Samson aimed for a six over deep square leg but mistimed the shot, resulting in a straightforward catch for Mahedi Hasan.

The Hyderabad crowd erupted in applause as Samson left the field, having scored 111 runs off 47 balls. Suryakumar, with an arm around Samson’s shoulder and a smile on his face, celebrated the remarkable innings, prompting a wave of praise on social media.
