The International Cricket Council (ICC) has released the latest Test rankings after the third Test between India and Sri Lanka. The Indian Team won the Test series with a margin of 3-0. The Indian captain Virat Kohli whitewashed their first ever overseas Test series.
The both Indian openers Shikhar Dhawan and KL Rahul achieved their career best Test rankings. KL Rahul, who scored 7 consecutive test fifties is now at the 9th place in the latest rankings.
While the other opener Shikhar Dhawan, who was player of the tournament in the recent Sri Lankan series is now at the 28th position. Shikhar Dhawan scored total 358 runs in the three matches.
The Indian all-rounder Hardik Pandya, who scored a brilliant century in the third and last Test is now at the 68th position. The Indian fast bowlers Mohammad Shami and Umesh Yadav are also gained 1-1 place.
The Indian Team is still on the top of the table in the latest Team rankings, while South Africa, England and Australia are on the second, third and fourth places respectively. The other batsmen from India in Top-10 are Cheteshwar Pujara, Ajinkya Rahane and Indian captain Virat Kohli.
