As we all know that, Team India easily won the first Twenty-20 International match against the Ireland team with a huge margin of 76 runs. Now the Virat Kohli & company are looking for one more easy victory in this two match series ahead the England long series.
In the first match, the Indian openers Rohit Sharma and Shikhar Dhawan batted brilliantly and added 160 runs for the first wicket partnership. Rohit scored 97 runs off 61 balls with the help of 8 fours and 5 sixes, while Dhawan scored 74 runs off 45 balls with the help of 5 fours and 5 sixes.
After winning the match, Kohli said: “We have already announced that apart from the opening combination we are going to do a lot of experiments in the middle order. We are going to be flexible in the next few T20s. We will look to throw in guys when the situation requires them to come in and try to surprise the opposition.”
So obviously Team India will take some chances in the middle orders. KL Rahul might get a chance in the squad in place of Suresh Raina or might be Raina will get one more chance. Manish Pandey didn’t get any chance to bat in the first game, so he will be in the squad.
The skipper Virat Kohli demoted himself in the first game and got out on duck on the second last ball of the match. While in the bowling department, the spin duo Yuzvendra Chahal and Kuldeep Yadav bowled brilliantly and took 7 wickets together.
As we all know that, the death over specialist bowler Jasprit Bumrah hurt himself in a football drill before the first game, he might miss the second game and Umesh Yadav or Siddarth Kaul will get a chance.
So here is the India’s probable 11 for 2nd T20I vs Ireland:
Rohit Sharma, Shikhar Dhawan, Virat Kohli (C), Suresh Raina / KL Rahul, MS Dhoni (WK), Manish Pandey, Hardik Pandya, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Yuzvendra Chahal, Kuldeep Yadav, Umesh Yadav / Siddarth Kaul
