The Indian captain Virat Kohli presented a memento to the former Indian captain MS Dhoni for playing his 300th One Day International match against Sri Lanka. Kohli gave that memento before starting of the match.
MS Dhoni played one more brilliant inning in this series. This the third back to back valuable inning of MS Dhoni in this series. He was unbeaten on 49 runs off 42 balls with the help of 5 fours and 1 six.
The team India scored 375 runs in 50 overs. The Indian opener batsman Rohit Sharma and the Indian captain Virat Kohli scored a brilliant century. Manish Pandey also scored a good fifty runs inning.
