Famous commentator and former player of the Indian team, Akash Chopra, has chosen his best playing XI for the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023. Akash Chopra, as a commentator and expert on IPL 2023, has been closely following the tournament, and now he has created a team that he believes is the best playing XI for IPL 2023. Akash Chopra has not included Virat Kohli, Faf du Plessis, and Ravindra Jadeja in his team.
The famous commentator has uploaded a video on his YouTube channel where he shared his best playing XI for IPL 2023. He has chosen Shubman Gill and Yashasvi Jaiswal as opening batsmen. As a matter of fact, Akash Chopra is quite impressed with the opening batsman of the Rajasthan Royals.
According to Akash, Jaiswal’s outstanding batting in IPL 2023 has overshadowed the veteran batsman Jos Buttler. By including Jaiswal in the team, they can form a strong opening partnership with left and right-handed batsmen. This is the reason why the renowned commentator did not select Virat Kohli or Faf du Plessis in the team.
While selecting the middle-order all-rounder, this former player of the Kolkata Knight Riders seemed a bit uncertain, but later, he chose Akshar Patel over Ravindra Jadeja. Actually, Akash Chopra believes that including Akshar Patel in the team will provide them with better balance. This player can contribute both with the bat and the ball.
Speaking of uncapped players, the renowned expert has included Rinku Singh in his playing XI, apart from Yashasvi Jaiswal. Both these players are uncapped players who are part of Akash Chopra’s team.
Akash Chopra’s IPL 2032 Best Playing XI: Shubman Gill, Yashasvi Jaiswal, Cameron Green, Suryakumar Yadav, Rinku Singh, Henrik Klassen, Axar Patel, Rashid Khan, Mohammed Shami, Mohammed Siraj, Mathisha Pathirana.
Substitute Players: Ravindra Jadeja, Yuzvendra Chahal, Virat Kohli, Faf du Plessis, Rohit Sharma.
