Dinesh Karthik answers tricky question on Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma

Experienced Indian wicketkeeper Dinesh Karthik found himself facing a tricky question concerning his close acquaintances and cricket superstars, Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma. Over the years, Karthik had cultivated strong friendships with both Rohit and Kohli, making it quite a challenging choice when posed with the query of which of the two exceptional batters he enjoyed watching the most.

Responding to a fan’s question on Cricbuzz, Dinesh Karthik offered a shrewd response to sidestep a potential source of playful banter: “Sir, both Rohit and Virat are my friends (Rohit and Virat). Marwaaoge kya (smiles). Still, I will genuinely answer. When batting first, I relish watching Rohit. He boasts three double centuries as well. When chasing, the master, Virat Kohli.”

Karthik’s appreciation of India’s formidable bowling performance in the face of Pakistan’s dramatic batting collapse was evident. While many in the cricketing community criticized Pakistan’s batsmen for their apparent lack of determination and composure, Dinesh Karthik attributed the fall to India’s exceptional bowling prowess.

He commented: “Yes, Pakistan experienced a collapse, but it was primarily due to the exceptional quality of the Indian bowling. If you closely examine each wicket, you’ll find brilliant deliveries and immense pressure exerted by the Indian team, leading to Pakistan’s downfall. While there might be some room for improvement in terms of skills, it was the exceptional bowling performance by the Indian team that truly stood out.”

India is eager to solidify their position at the top of the table as they strive for victory in their upcoming match against Bangladesh in Pune on Thursday, October 19.
