Donald builds up to Springboks celebration with a game of hide and seek

Bangladesh experienced a significant batting collapse at the Eden Gardens, leaving them in a precarious position at 188/7 after 40 overs against Pakistan. Despite having only one win in six World Cup games so far, the Tigers have found little reason for celebration during the tournament.

However, this is not the case for their bowling coach, the legendary Allan Donald, who hails from South Africa. While his team was struggling on the field against Pakistan, Donald was spotted on the sidelines tending to an injury on his hands with some ice.

But when the cameras returned their focus to him after briefly capturing the on-field action, this former pace sensation decided to entertain the commentators and viewers.

He playfully pretended to hide behind an LED sideboard, and when the camera refused to look away, the 57-year-old continued his antics by engaging in a game of peek-a-boo.

The camera then shifted its attention to Donald’s feet, revealing that he was proudly wearing a Springboks garment in honor of South Africa’s recent Rugby World Cup victory over the New Zealand All Blacks. Upon realizing this, Donald couldn’t contain his excitement and celebrated quietly but passionately by raising both fists in the air in exultation.
