The International Cricket Council (ICC) has released the latest rankings for One Day Internationals. The Indian Cricket Team lost their first place after the victory of South Africa in the second One Day International match against Bangladesh. The South African team is now on the top of the team rankings.
The points of Indian team and South African team are same, but in the decimal fraction the South African team is ahead of India. The Australia team is at the third place after losing the recent One Day International series against India by a margin of 4-1.
The England team is now at the fourth place, while the New Zealand team is at the fifth place in the rankings. If the healthy cricket will be happen between India and New Zealand in the upcoming One Day International series, then the scenario will be change after the three match series.
The Indian skipper Virat Kohli is still the number 1 rank batsman in the One Day International format, while the Australian opener batsman David Warner is at the second place. The South African star batsman AB de Villiers is at the third place. He hits his 25th One Day International century in the yesterday’s game against Bangladesh.
De Villiers scored 176 runs off just 104 balls with the help of 15 fours and 7 sixes. That was his highest score in this limited format. He was just 12 runs short to break the record of Gary Kirsten 188 runs knock for the South African Team.
