The Afghanistan Team will miss the service of his wicketkeeper-batsman Mohammad Shahzad in the ongoing ICC Cricket World Cup, as he has been ruled out for the rest of the World Cup due to a knee injury.
He retired hurt during the warm-up match against Pakistan after injured his knee. Shahzad played the two league matches against Australia and Sri Lanka with a knee injury.
Due to that, he aggravated the injury and now ruled out of the tournament. The Afghanistan will play his next match against New Zealand in Taunton on Saturday.
