The Indian Cricket Team is ready to play 23 International matches from September 2017 to December 2017. The schedule is announced by the officials of BCCI. The two new venues will be also included in those matches. The Barsapara in Assam and Greenfield International Stadium in Trivandrum are the two stadiums are ready to host Test matches.
A BCCI official said,”There are 23 International matches at home. Three Tests, 11 ODIs and nine T20 Internationals. Each and every venue in India will be covered. Barsapara in Assam and Greenfield International Stadium in Thiruvananthapuram have got Test status. Both are vying for Test matches. Most of the bigger centres want either a T20 International or ODIs.”
The Team India is also playing the test series with Sri Lanka. After the test series India will also play the limited over series. In that series, first they play 5 One Day Internationals and after that three Twenty-20 Internationals.
After the long tour of Sri Lanka, Virat and company will be prepared for the Australia tour in India in October-November. The India’s tour of South Africa is also placed after the Australia series. Later on Sri Lanka might be touring India in a full pack series.
The Australian tour of India will be a limited over series, while the India tour of South Africa will be a series for all three formats. Indian Cricket Team won their first test by a huge margin of 304 runs and ready for another hunt under the captaincy of Virat Kohli.
