Injury Update On Indian Pacer Mohammad Shami

The Indian fast bowler Mohammad Shami injured himself in the third day game of the first test of Paytm series between India and Sri Lanka. He was unable to complete his 14th over due to hamstring problem on his right leg. After that, he left the field and the captain Virat Kohli completed that over.

The Indian dependable batsman Cheteshwar Pujara has confirmed that the injury was not “serious” and he will be back in the action tomorrow. He said,”I don’t think there’s anything serious. I’m not sure exactly what has happened but it’s just a minor injury and should be back on the field tomorrow.”

The third day’s play was called off due to the bad light. At that time the Sri Lankan team is just 7 runs behind the first innings score of Indian cricket team. The rain played the hide & seek role in this very first Test match of this series at Eden Garden, Kolkata.
