The auction date for the next edition of Indian Premier League is scheduled January 27, 28 in Bengaluru. The news is confirmed by the BCCI officials. The budget also increases from previous Rs 66 crore to Rs 80 crore. The BCCI officials also confirmed that five players can be retained by a franchise.
A senior BCCI official said,”Since most of the capped players will be back in auction, it will be a mega auction that will be held in Bengaluru on January 27 and 28. Since Bengaluru has been hosting all previous auctions, that was the choice of franchises.”
As we all know that the 11th edition of this famous league will start in 2018, where the two former teams Chennai Super Kings and the Rajasthan Royals will be back to join the league after the two years of suspension.
