There are no any update on the seriousness of this injury so far, but it looked like a hamstring problem. If the problem will be major then he can take between two to six weeks for the recovery.
The BCCI is ready to announce the squad for the ICC World Cup 2019 on April 15. So the selectors are really waiting for a positive news on the Rohit’s injury. The World Cup starts from May 30 and India play their first match on June 5.
