Since the culmination of the Indian Premier League, the Lucknow Super Giants have emerged as one of the most dynamically engaged teams. Their recent actions include parting ways with Andy Flower and appointing Justin Langer as their fresh head coach.
Nonetheless, the team has chosen not to undergo a complete transformation of their coaching ensemble, opting to retain Morne Morkel as their bowling coach. This decision was shared with the public through a tweet posted by the Lucknow Super Giants on Twitter.
Over the course of 2 IPL seasons, the Lucknow Super Giants have participated actively. During both seasons, the team demonstrated their prowess by securing playoff berths. Despite these achievements, their journey concluded in the eliminator matches on both occasions.
Currently, former Indian player Gautam Gambhir contributes his expertise as a mentor within the team’s coaching staff. Justin Langer took up the position of head coach for the Australian cricket team following the 2018 sandpaper incident.
