PBKS admin trolls Rohit Sharma for his three-ball duck, MI admin gives a blockbuster reply

Rohit Sharma, the captain of Mumbai Indians, has been struggling to find his form in the current edition of the Indian Premier League. He has been consistently getting out for low scores, which is proving to be a nightmare for him.

In a recent match against Punjab Kings at Punjab Cricket Association IS Bindra Stadium, Mohali, Rohit was dismissed for a three-ball duck, making it another forgettable outing for him.

The PBKS Twitter handle trolled Rohit for his dismissal, using the caption “R 0” with a laughing emoji. However, Mumbai Indians’ Twitter admin came up with a fitting reply, highlighting Rohit’s achievement of winning six trophies as a player in IPL – the most by any player in the tournament’s history. In contrast, Punjab Kings have zero trophies in their cabinet.

Despite Rohit’s early dismissal, Mumbai Indians went on to win the match by six wickets, chasing down the target of 214 runs in just 18.5 overs. Ishan Kishan and Suryakumar Yadav were the heroes of the chase, scoring 75 and 66 runs respectively.

Once again, Mumbai Indians have dominated a chase, this time scaling a mammoth target of 215 runs. Despite failing to contain Punjab Kings to 214 runs, Mumbai’s batting prowess came to the forefront, led by Ishan Kishan’s 75 runs and Suryakumar Yadav’s mesmerizing knock of 66.

Although Rohit Sharma bagged a duck, the young guns, Tilak Varma and Tim David, ensured an easy win for Mumbai in the end with their finishing touches. Mumbai’s ability to chase down big totals continues to grow, and they have proved once again why they are one of the most formidable teams in the Indian Premier League.
