Indian cricket team captain, Rohit Sharma, has been in the spotlight for his exceptional leadership and batting skills during the ongoing ICC Men’s ODI World Cup 2023.
However, his recent overspeeding incident on the Mumbai-Pune highway has attracted negative attention. The traffic authorities in that area reacted promptly, demonstrating their commitment to public safety.
According to a Pune Mirror report, Rohit Sharma received three traffic citations for significantly exceeding the speed limit while driving his Lamborghini Urus, clocking in at over 200 kmph.
Some fans argue that driving at such high speeds is too risky for a public figure like Sharma. In an effort to take a brief respite, the Indian captain decided to visit his hometown, Mumbai.
Rohit Sharma issued 3 challans for overspeeding at the Mumbai-Pune highway.
