During the Tri-series match against the West Indies, the two Indian cricketers Suresh Raina and Ravindra Jadeja involved in an ugly fight in a live match. That incident happened due to the two drop catches by Suresh Raina of Sunil Narine.
After the dismissal of Sunil Narine, Jadeja came towards Raina and said few harsh words. After the Raina also reacted angrily, but due to the interference of other team members, both players solve the matter instantly.
After the match, Raina was walking with Jadeja, putting his hand around his neck and trying to explain about that incident. The both players apologize to the BCCI for their on-field behaviour.
“Raina and Jadeja have spoken to the team manager and tendered unconditional apology for their on-field behaviour. They have promised that this type of an act won’t be repeated again. Both the cricketers have understood that their conduct is unbecoming of a national team cricketer,” a senior BCCI official said.
