As the auction of the 11th season of Indian Premier Season is not far away, the sign up process for the auction closed on Friday, Jan 12, 2018 after the record 1122 players signing up for this competition. The auction is scheduled to take place in Bengaluru on Jan 27-28, 2018.
In that list 281 capped players, 838 uncapped players, including 778 Indians and three players from the Associate nations. The full list is already sent to the IPL franchise owners.
Talking about the 282 overseas players, 58 from Australia, 57 from South Africa, 39 players from Sri Lanka. 39 players from Windies, 30 from New Zealand, 26 players from England and 13 players from Afghanistan will enter the auction.
