India Champions captain Yuvraj Singh rolled back the years with an electrifying performance against the West Indies Champions in the 2024 World Championship of Legends. Yuvraj scored 38 runs off 25 deliveries at Edgbaston before retiring hurt on July 5.

Leading the India Champions from the front, Yuvraj Singh smashed three fours and two sixes during his 25-ball stint at the crease. In the 12th over of the innings, he launched one of his sixes against Sulieman Benn.

Just like in his prime, Singh stepped out and sent the leg-spinner’s delivery soaring over the boundary, striking a familiar pose that evoked nostalgia among the fans.

Yuvraj’s 25-ball 38 propelled the India Champions to 229/5 in their 20 overs, despite being at a precarious 65/3 at one point.

The skipper teamed up with Gurkeerat Singh Mann to dismantle the West Indies Champions’ bowling attack. Gurkeerat blazed his way to 86 off 42 deliveries, smashing six fours and seven sixes.
