On the third day, following India’s dismal batting performance on the moving pitch on day two, the Indian lower order once again crumbled under the pressure of Australia’s pink-ball attack.
Mitchell Starc and Pat Cummins wreaked havoc, eventually bringing Siraj to the crease. Despite his best efforts to survive the Aussie onslaught, Siraj’s innings was cut short by a brilliant catch from Travis Head.
After hitting a boundary in his brief stay, Siraj was caught out by a well-executed short ball from Boland. In an awkward position while attempting to pull the ball, Siraj top-edged it behind short leg.
Head sprinted across the field and leapt to take a stunning catch. Earlier in the match, after a fiery exchange on day two, Siraj had been seen chatting with Head while batting, with Head stationed at short leg.

Although many on Twitter speculated that Siraj might be attempting to bury the hatchet, Head’s one-arm punch celebration after the catch divided opinions among fans.
