WATCH : Animated celebration by Virat Kohli after Krunal’s Wicket

Maxwell gets the wicket of Krunal Pandya, caught by Kohli! Maxwell bowled a wide delivery with not much pace on it. Krunal came down the track, attempting to hit an inside out loft with just the right timing, without using much power.

However, he could only manage to chip it off the bottom half of his bat. Kohli ran back and to his right at long-off and took a great catch to complete the dismissal.

LSG dominated the innings, despite the last-ball boundary. Kohli and Faf had a partnership of 62 runs for the first wicket, but lacked any attacking intent. Kohli fell when he tried to accelerate, and the other batsmen like Rawat, Maxwell, and Prabhudessai struggled to adapt to the pitch.

Faf also lacked intent and only played defensive shots. KL got injured while fielding, but Krunal led the team well with RCB’s tactics. Rain interrupted the game for 25 minutes, and Faf got out after the game resumed, but LSG couldn’t accelerate in the end overs.

LSG’s bowlers adapted well to the pitch, using slower balls and the boundary dimensions to restrict RCB’s scoring. Naveen-ul-Haq was the pick of the bowlers with three wickets. Although the pitch wasn’t easy, it will be challenging to limit LSG to under 126. Additionally, it remains to be seen what KL’s injury status is.
