WATCH : Arshdeep Singh gets to dream start in County Championship by dismissing Ben Foakes

Arshdeep Singh, a rising star in Indian cricket, has exhibited his talent and skills in the Indian Premier League (IPL) as well as for the national team in the shortest format. However, he has had limited exposure to red-ball cricket, having played only seven first-class games thus far without showcasing his true potential.

On Sunday, Arshdeep made his debut for Kent against Surrey in the County Championship, and it was a dream start for him as he impressed the spectators with his ability to trouble the opposing batsmen.

During his spell for Kent in the first innings, Arshdeep conceded a mere 12 runs from 10 overs, including four maidens. Notably, he also claimed his first wicket in the County Championship by dismissing Ben Foakes when the batter was on three runs.

Arshdeep bowled a well-pitched delivery that jagged back into Foakes, completely deceiving him. The delivery struck Foakes on his back foot, prompting the umpire to swiftly raise his finger, signaling the dismissal.
