The most bizarre incident occurred in the second T20 between India and Zimbabwe. While Bangladeshi batsman Saifuddin was on strike, the bails fell off by themselves and resulted in a bit of a spooky moment on the field. The video clip of the incident was shared by a user on Twitter and it got crazily viral in no time. Many fans humorously said that probably a ghost had entered the field during the match which led to the bails falling off.

Zimbabwe bowler Tendai Chatara’s delivery to Saifuddin gave away an easy 1 run. When the Bangladeshi batsman rocked back to defend the off-speed short length ball, the bails fell off by themselves without being touched by a soul. Saifuddin, by then, had ran towards the other end by not even noticing. He noticed it only when the Zimbabwe players started appealing for a hit wicket. The umpires sent it upstairs. It was discovered that Saifuddin was not at fault. The bails fell off unnaturally, probably due to wind.
Zimbabwe got the better of Bangladesh in the second T20 to make the series 1-1. The third and final match will now be the series decider. Zimbabwe won the toss and opted to bat first. They scored a decent 166/6 in the first innings and went on thanks to Wesley Madhevere’s 73 off 57. Ryan Burl’s excellent cameo also needs to be applauded.
Bangladesh never looked in shape coming in to chase. The Tigers lost the match by as much as 23 runs after none of their star players rose up to the occasion.
