England were firmly in control when Harry Brook and Joe Root took to the crease on the second day. The pair forged a 91-run partnership, propelling the score to 241/3 in 50 overs with England leading by 120 runs.
However, Harry Brook succumbed to Alzarri Joseph’s bouncer in the 51st over, departing after a well-crafted 50 off 64 deliveries. Following Brook’s exit, skipper Ben Stokes stepped in, but his tenure was brief as he fell victim to a masterful delivery from Motie.
On the final ball of the 55th over, Motie delivered a full-length ball to the southpaw. The delivery, pitched well outside off-stump, landed on the footmarks before sharply nipping back in.
Stokes leaned forward to drive but was caught off guard as the ball beat his inside edge and crashed into the middle stump. The English skipper stood at the crease with a look of surprise before dejectedly making his way back to the pavilion.

His departure marked yet another low in his batting form, while the Caribbean contingent celebrated Motie’s exceptional delivery, sparking excitement on Twitter.
