WATCH : Bradley Currie erupts as Travis Head departs for golden duck

The Australian team entered the match with high confidence following their previous performance, prompting Scotland captain Richie Berrington to choose to bowl first.

Brandon McMullen started the attack for the hosts, with Travis Head and Jake Fraser-McGurk putting up 5/0 in the first over.

However, their partnership was brief as Head was dismissed in the second over by a superb delivery from Currie.

On the fourth ball of the second over, Currie delivered a good-length ball that pitched around the fourth stump. The ball sharply veered back as the Aussie opener attempted to defend, slipping through the small gap between bat and pad to hit the top of the off stump.

As the bails fell, Currie and his teammates erupted in celebration over the impressive dismissal. The reaction on Twitter was swift, with many noting how left-arm seamers continue to outwit Travis Head.
