In a bid to secure their spot in the World Test Championship Finals, South Africa won the toss and opted to bowl first under the partly overcast skies at Centurion.
Despite delivering some magnificent balls, the opening duo of Marco Jansen and Kagiso Rabada couldn’t catch a break as Pakistan’s openers, Shan Masood and Saim Ayub, guided the team to 36 runs off 14 overs.
Breaking the stand required a moment of brilliance from a special debutant playing at his home ground. After an hour of play, Corbin Bosch was introduced as the second-change bowler following the Drinks break.
The right-arm quick came over the wicket and bowled a fuller delivery outside the off-stump, angled away from Masood. The left-hander attempted a forward drive but edged it thickly to Marco Jansen at gully.

The tall all-rounder held onto the catch, giving Corbin his first international wicket with his very first ball. Playing at home, Corbin’s parents were in the crowd, and the camera expertly captured their joyous reactions, quickly drawing the attention of Twitter users.
