After a remarkable 165-run fifth-wicket partnership between Dhruv Jurel and Abhimanyu Easwaran, the Rest of India team crumbled under pressure from the Mumbai attack.
Easwaran was dismissed for 191 in the 103rd over, and shortly after, Manav Suthar followed him back to the pavilion, leaving Yash Dayal to bat at No. 9.
Dayal’s innings nearly ended before it began when he edged a delivery to first slip, where captain Rahane—one of the finest fielders—dropped the catch.
After two dot balls, Dayal faced a fuller delivery outside off-stump on the first ball of the 110th over and, relieved by his good fortune, launched a massive six over deep mid-wicket.

Although he was dismissed on the next ball, Rahane’s drop and Dayal’s lone six sparked considerable buzz on social media.
