The Caribbean Premier League has delivered plenty of thrills for players and fans alike. In the eighth match of the tournament, Antigua Falcons took on Trinbago Knight Riders, who won the toss and chose to bowl first.
The Falcons made a strong start with an opening partnership between Fakhar Zaman and Justin Greaves, and a crucial 46 from Imad Wasim helped them reach a total of 176/6 in their 20 overs.
Trinbago’s chase began shakily with Sunil Narine dismissed early, and the situation deteriorated with the fall of Shaqkere Parris and Pooran’s departure following a brilliant catch by Allen.
On the final ball of the 10th over, Allen intended a yorker but missed his length, leaving the ball in Pooran’s hitting zone. Pooran struck powerfully, but the ball deflected off Allen’s hand and went up in the air.

Allen reacted quickly, stretching out to take a stunning catch on the rebound. The crowd erupted in applause as Pooran looked on in disbelief at the spectacular turn of events.
