WATCH : Harshit Rana brings back his ‘flying kiss’ celebration scalping Ruturaj Gaikwad

India D struggled with the bat, losing their top order within the first 10 overs. However, a vital 84-run partnership between Axar Patel and Arshdeep Singh provided some relief, lifting the team to 159/8 in 47 overs.

Unfortunately, the partnership couldn’t maintain the momentum, and India D was eventually bowled out for 164 runs.

In response, India C also experienced a challenging start, with the wickets of Sai Sudharsan and Ruturaj Gaikwad leading to Harshit Rana’s celebration.

On the final ball of the fifth over, Rana delivered a fuller-length ball from around the wicket, aiming at the leg stump. The ball took an unexpected bounce and drifted wider than Sudharsan anticipated.

The Tamil Nadu batter attempted a flick but misjudged the bounce, resulting in an edge that flew to wicketkeeper Srikar Bharat. Bharat, quick on his feet, made an exceptional diving catch to his right.

Rana, thrilled, leaped into the air and celebrated with gusto.Soon after, Rana was back in the spotlight, performing his signature celebration after dismissing India C captain Ruturaj Gaikwad in the seventh over.

The moment recalled Rana’s IPL fame, where he popularized the ‘flying kiss’ gesture with Mayank Agarwal, causing a buzz on Twitter.
