WATCH : Heinrich Klaasen Destroyed Rashid Khan in MLC

In an historic moment for Major League Cricket (MLC), South Africa’s Heinrich Klaasen etched his name in the record books by becoming the first-ever batsman to score a century. His incredible feat took place during the 15th match of the inaugural MLC season, where the Seattle Orcas faced off against MI New York at Church Street Park in Morrisville.

The target set for Seattle Orcas was 195 runs, and thanks to Klaasen’s phenomenal batting display, they achieved it in just 19.2 overs. His unbeaten 110* off 44 balls was nothing short of a spectacle, showcasing his exceptional white-ball power-hitting skills.

Klaasen’s prowess in the white-ball format has been consistently evident over the years, earning him a firm place in South Africa’s white-ball squads and various T20 franchise leagues worldwide.

In the Morrisville match, his knock included 9 fours and an impressive 7 massive sixes. Notably, three of those sixes were dispatched in a single over bowled by Rashid Khan, widely considered as one of the finest T20 bowlers globally.

In a breathtaking display of power-hitting, Klaasen took on Rashid Khan, smashing him for an astonishing three sixes and a four in a single over, amassing 26 runs.

This game-changing over tilted the momentum firmly in favor of Seattle, leaving MI New York’s best bowler, Rashid Khan, thoroughly demoralized as Klaasen’s onslaught continued to deflate the entire bowling team.
