On Saturday, during the match between the Delhi Capitals and the Punjab Kings at the Arun Jaitley Stadium, Delhi won the toss and David Warner, their skipper, chose to bowl first. Both teams have made a single change to their lineup, with DC’s Ripal Patel being replaced and Punjab’s Bhanuka Rajapaksa being replaced by Sikandar Raza.
Now almost out of the tournament, the Delhi Capitals would be looking to disrupt the plans of other teams. Punjab, led by Shikhar Dhawan, have had an inconsistent season thus far and need to win this match against Delhi to keep their hopes of qualifying for the playoffs alive.
Livingstone has been bowled out by Ishant! Livingstone’s poor shot selection has cost him dearly. Ishant’s change of ends has proved effective once again as he picks up another wicket.
The delivery was on an off-length and Livingstone, who had advanced down the track, swung wildly across the line but missed completely, resulting in his stumps being rattled. If he had gone for a straighter shot instead of playing across, he might have had a better chance.
TIMBER!

It is evident that Delhi Capitals have taken control of this powerplay. During the sixth over, Axar delivered a slower ball for the fourth delivery. Jitesh attempted to hit it inside-out, but he was nowhere near the pitch of the ball – as far as Delhi is from Agra. The ball passed the swinging bat and went on to hit the top of off.
